VoltageVault.co.uk - Website Policies
Terms & Conditions
Welcome to VoltageVault.co.uk, a website rooted in the personal vision of one individual committed to sustainability, thoughtful reuse, and reducing waste. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and outline the mutual understanding between you, the visitor or buyer, and me, the private individual who owns and operates this platform.
VoltageVault.co.uk is not a registered business or commercial enterprise. It is an independent, privately managed site created as a personal side project. Items listed for sale are not sourced in bulk or intended for mass retail. They reflect personal use, surplus belongings, or individually restored second-hand goods.
As such:
This is not a business transaction.
You are purchasing from a private hobbyist, not a professional seller.
Traditional consumer protections applicable to retailers may not fully apply here.
I make every effort to provide accurate, honest, and detailed descriptions of each item, including clear photographs and any known imperfections. Most items are pre-owned or refurbished and may show signs of use such as scratches, scuffs, or age-related wear, which I disclose to the best of my ability.
Items marked as Unbranded may contain a mix of components or come from unknown manufacturers. If something is unclear, please contact me for clarification before purchase.
New: Items described as New may not always come in original packaging. Some may have been opened or lightly used for testing to ensure full functionality.
Refurbished: Refurbished items have been carefully cleaned, tested, and restored to safe working order. Minor cosmetic marks or colour variations are normal and do not affect performance.
For Parts / Display: These items may be fully, partially, or non-operational. They are often discontinued, incomplete, or unsuitable for normal use, and are best suited for repair projects, spare parts, collectors, or display.
If you wish to purchase a specific component from a listed item, please get in touch. While I will do my best to help, availability cannot be guaranteed. Any parts removed will still be charged at the full listed price and will only be removed safely to avoid damage.
Full payment is required before items are dispatched.
Payments are currently accepted via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, and most major cards). Additional secure payment options may be added in the future.
Orders not paid within a reasonable timeframe may be cancelled.
All payments are processed in GBP (£) and will appear on your card statement as Nueagain, the administrative name I use to manage my hobby projects. This is purely for administrative purposes and does not affect your purchase from VoltageVault.co.uk.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe and comply with industry-standard security protocols (PCI-DSS).
I personally package and dispatch every order within 2–4 working days.
Shipping is carried out via Royal Mail or reputable UK couriers.
Where possible, I try to reuse packaging to reduce waste. Items are always packaged safely to ensure they arrive in good condition.
Delays outside of my control (e.g., postal strikes, courier errors) may occur, but I will do my best to assist in resolving issues.
Once items are handed to the courier, I cannot accept liability for lost or delayed parcels, but I will help as much as possible.
To ensure the integrity of all returns,we record the serial or identification number of each item sold. Selected products may also bear a discrete security mark. These procedures allow us to verify that any returned goods are the original items dispatched from VoltageVault.co.uk, thereby preventing the return of unauthorized or substituted products.
All written content, item listings, photographs, and design elements are the intellectual property of VoltageVault.co.uk unless otherwise noted. Reproduction or reuse of any content without written permission is prohibited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
I do not accept liability for any loss resulting from delays, miscommunications, or perceived item defects.
You agree to use this website and make purchases at your own discretion, acknowledging the inherent limitations of buying from a private seller.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.
I reserve the right to:
Decline an order at any time, for any reason.
Cancel a transaction that raises suspicion of fraud or abuse.
Refuse service in cases of inappropriate, aggressive, or disrespectful communication.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably through communication will fall under the jurisdiction of UK courts.
By continuing to use this website or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
